COURSE

This course focuses on the tactical application of shooting Red dot with Pistol. Course focuses on Fundamentals of utilizing red dot in a variety of different aspects. From the basic fundamentals to shooting non conventional positions at distances from 10-50 Meters. Distances covers will be 5-100m. This course will also cover contingencies for shooting when your dot is covered in mud, water and other contingencies. Basic Instruction and co witness of the front sight to long range application will be discussed as well.

Fundamentals Covered:

Stance, Grip , Sight Alignment , Sight Picture ( 3 Levels of Focus ), Breathing , Trigger Manipulation, Follow Through and Recovery Variety of contingency positions will be covered as well as Contingencies of fighting with one arm , eye etc..

Equipment Needed:

** Red dot will be supplied if needed (Trijicon RMR ) Must have MOS compatible Pistol *

Pistol with Red Dot, Battle Belt, 4 Magazines, Eye Pro, Gloves,Ear Pro, Body Armor if applicable, Inclement Weather Gear, Pen and Paper and a Great Attitude

Night Course: Flashlight Handheld, weapon mounted

Ammo Requirements:

All students, units, or departments are required to purchase and transport their own ammunition.
