COURSE
Intermediate to Advanced Carbine and Pistol Course focusing on fighting in and around Cover and Vehicles. Course includes variety shooting tactics and positions utilized around vehicles as well as 2 man and Team tactics used while employing Carbine and Pistol. Course covers ballistic theory involving shooting through glass, shooting techniques and positions inside and outside vehicles as well as contingencies of gunfights around them, one hand manipulation with both Carbine and Pistol
Fundamentals Covered:
Stance, Grip , Sight Alignment , Sight Picture ( 3 Levels of Focus ), Breathing , Trigger Manipulation, Follow Through and Recovery Variety of contingency positions will be covered as well as Contingencies of fighting with one arm , eye etc..
Equipment Needed:
Carbine with Iron Sights , Red Dot,or LPVO, Pistol with Iron Sights or Red Dot Battle Belt, 4 Magazines each ,Eye Pro, Gloves,Ear Pro, Body Armor if applicable, Inclement Weather Gear, Pen and Paper and a Great Attitude
Night Course: Flashlight Handheld, weapon mounted
Ammo Requirements:
All students, units, or departments are required to purchase and transport their own ammunition.
2 Day ammo requirement: 400 carbine rounds, 400 pistol rounds
3 Day ammo requirement: 600 carbine rounds , 600 pistol rounds
